Some unusual things are flying across my laptop screen today. One was picked up by my tracker this morning from Beaverton, Oregon. Someone did a search on Google, using the keywords, " june 4 at 11:25pm via facebook for android comment
likeunlike see wall-to-wall terri moulton horman."
I also got a couple of other hits that led me to a particular set of parks (I found them by putting the latitude and longitude from the tracker hits on a Google map). One shows a set of trails near Springwater on the Willamette (near Happy Valley, Oregon) and the other shows a set of trails near Dewitt City Park which is near Portland, Oregon.
And then, when I checked my email, I found this letter:

"Dear Ruth,
I hope it's okay that I e-mail you. I saw your blog on the bring Kyron home site and wanted to write you. I live in Charleston, West Virginia but I can't tell you how much this case has touched my heart. My family all thinks I dwell on it too much but I don't think I'll be able to rest until it has been solved. Since Last Friday when I really started to research about his case, I have cried, prayed and reached out to God in every way I knew how on his behalf.
I still believe even with the recent turn of events that Kyron could still be out there and okay. I still have hope for this beautiful child with the little glasses and the smile that could light up any room.
I feel like I have come to have a special love for this little boy I've never met and will never know. He has become "everyone's child" and I continue to pray for him ALL the time.
My heart goes out to his biological parents and his stepfather - I can imagine how extremely difficult this must be for them.
I think it is a wonderful thing you've proposed about the fireworks being dedicated to Kyron. There were fireworks in my hometown on Saturday night and all I could think about was this little boy and the sadness that surrounds this whole situation.
Please feel free to write me back, I would like to be able to talk to someone who feels the same burden that I have felt for this beautiful little boy.

Kaine Horman Takes A Stand!

Kaine Horman has taken his eighteen-month old daughter and moved out. Yup. He has gotten a restraining order against his wife, Terri Moulton Horman and has (drum roll, please) FILED FOR DIVORCE !

I am cheering because, no matter how this case plays out, I feel that Kaine has made a positive move. He has made (hopefully) life safer for his daughter, Kiara. He has also practically implicated Terri Horman.

A Fireworks Dedication To Kyron
I didn't know Kyron Richard Horman on June 3. I had no idea that this incredible, amazing, awesome child existed. But by the next day, many people began to learn about him.
On this Fourth of July, if he isn't found, we will mark a month since Kyron disappeared.
Independence Day is a day of celebration...with picnics and fireworks. Families all over the United States will gather in lawn chairs and on blankets to cheer on the neon explosions in the night sky.
In cities and towns across the Country, seven-year-old boys will light sparklers and run across the grass, waving them around in the air.
Little boys will chomp watermelon and eat hot dogs. Some will swim in a lake, river or ocean. And others will stand on a float or march proudly with a Scout troop in a parade.
Will Kyron do any of those things?
That remains to be seen.
I propose that on this Fourth of July, if Kyron Horman isn't found, we dedicate all of the fireworks presentations in Oregon to him.

When I watched the interview with Kyron Horman's mom, Desiree Young and dad, Kaine Horman this morning...several thoughts flashed in my mind:
1.) I want to see Kyron's stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, in a live, Nationally televised interview. All by herself. With a journalist armed to the teeth with straight, to-the-point questions.
2.) I want to hear Terri give a minute-by-minute account, from the time that she drove Kyron to school, to the second that she last saw him.
3.) I want to know what Anonymous means by the comment that he or she left on my blog under my post, "Isn't It A Pity?"
Anonymous declared: "The very thing the perp tried to eliminate will be bigger and more powerful than ever."
I would very much appreciate it if you would elaborate on that comment, Anonymous.
And I also want to stress to everyone that I have posted more than one serious message to whomever may have taken Kyron Horman.

Ruthie On The Road, Update
The storms have passed and my sunburn is peeling off of my brand new skin. There is no major news on the home front (which to me means about missing Kyron Horman from Oregon) and I will be leaving Grand Island, Nebraska in a week.
I am happy that everything has mellowed-out. I look forward to heading back out on the road. But this time I am going to be outfitted to go!
I am going to buy a new backpack, shades, do my hair, buy sandals, new clothes, etc.
A trip like mine will require a new road atlas and a sunblock with a very SPF.
The craziest new development during this period of off road time is the fact that I am still losing weight. I have no idea why.
My shorts and one pair of my jeans are almost too big for me now. I haven't done anything differently except to walk more and maybe eat less. Does that work? Evidently, yes.
I am very grateful for the free meals at the Salvation Army. I am also fortunate to be staying at the shelter here.
The shelter has provided me a private room with lots of peace and quiet. I sleep and take my shower in peace. And I will enjoy it all until next Thursday.
Then I'll shift gears.
Until then I think I'll work on my photo edits.
If anything new pops up about Kyron Horman, which I pray it does, I will pitch in my two cents about it here.

They had just dropped their young children off at Grandma's, went to a 7-11 and as they walked out were both beat up by a gang of 3 or 4. My cousin has a broken hand and her fiance' has a broken nose. Police can't find them as of yet. N...ot that I can do anything at this distance, but WTF?!?!?!

They had just dropped their young children off at Grandma's, went to a 7-11 and as they walked out were both beat up by a gang of 3 or 4. My cousin has a broken hand and her fiance' has a broken nose. Police can't find them as of yet. N...ot that I can do anything at this distance, but WTF?!?!?!

Terri Moulton Horman Trying to sneak a shower in since Kitty already had one. Told her "No." when she tried to come in with me. She responded with "Okay, bye bye." which she never just leaves. She took my shower mat out the door, put diapers in the toilet and bathroom sink on her way out. Wonder where she gets the passive/agressive from? ;)

Ruthie On The Road, Update
The hits on my blog crashed into my tracker this morning like a tsunami. I was astounded.
So I decided to wait until later on in the day to post this personal update.
I have been focusing a great deal of attention on the missing seven-year-old boy from Portland, Oregon...Kyron Horman.
But while that has filled my blog in recent days, I have been going through an adventure of my own. And that has been wrapped around one on-going event: The Weather!
I have been staying here in Grand Island, Nebraska because I got a very bad sunburn on the road. The burn covers both of my arms and from the bottom of my neck to most of the area between my shoulder blades. It's a real doozy.
The burn has prohibited me from spending time in direct sunlight and has made it impossible for me to carry my big backpack.
So I am going to stay here in Grand Island until July 1. Then I will continue on.
For those of you who don't already know, I am hitchhiking from Oregon to Maine.
I slather my burn with lotion, oils, Aloe Vera and stay out of the sun as much as possible (which means that I practically live in the library during the day). And I stash my backpack during the day instead of carrying it around with me.
My burn, which still needs about a week to fully heal, is transforming to the flake and itch stage. Soon I will look like a lizard woman. Picture "Peanut's" PigPen character within a cloud of skin flakes.
I eat at the Salvation Army kitchen and sleep in a shelter. The shelter is clean and comfortable. So I am okay on that score.
The PROBLEM is the WEATHER!
The weather is WILD here in Nebraska!
Every day I check the forecast and I am told that severe storms are moving into the area. And the storms come.
I don't even know what it's like to stay here for twenty-four hours without an episode of high winds, hail, thunder, lightning and heavy rain.
It's even in the forecast for today and this evening.
A severe outbreak of Tornadoes hit this city in 1980.
I am hoping that won't happen while I am here! Every time another bank of dark clouds rolls in, I pray that I will get through it, unscathed.
Tornado: A form of domestic terrorism that nobody can stop.

The Kyron Horman Petition
A petition is being circulated now that is asking for cameras to be installed in every, single school in the Metro (PDX) Portland, Oregon area. This is a direct result of the Kyron Horman missing child case.
That project will cost one million dollars.
But not if the providers cut the schools, the City of Portland and Multnomah County some slack and drop the price.
It's long overdue and it's the right thing to do.
No one with a heart that beats for a child wants to see the situation with Kyron Horman happen again in Portland. Ever.
So it's time for Metro Portland to face up to the problem. And in fact, I believe that cameras should be installed in every school Nationwide. Those cameras should be full-color, with time and date stamp video-record capability and monitored by school staff and the police.
There's too darn many kids disappearing in this Country. It's time that the United States took the last vital step in making schools as secure as they can be.
Chase away the boogie man. Switch on the cameras.
Why I Care About Kyron
I have an audience. When I checked my tracker, there you all were and are right now.
That's good.
And you may be wondering why I, of all people, would show such an interest in the Kyron Horman case.
After all, I am a humble roadie, a hitchhiker and a professional bum. Shouldn't I be spending my online time focusing on other subjects?
Nope.
Like many of you, when I first read about Kyron and saw his face, I fell in love with that boy. And I have a solid interest in missing people. I have for years.
To me, Kyron Horman represents a limit. Many of us who have followed Kyron's case have decided that enough is enough. We have seen too many kids disappear. And we are fed up.
I got this laptop from a couple at a Methodist church in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. When the couple gave this precious gift to me, we agreed that it would be put to good use. And that is why I have zeroed-in on Kyron.
I believe in God. He believes in me. And I know that He knows what has happened to Kyron.
He expects us, the ones who are older and know better, to do the right thing by that boy.
Even me.
I will not turn my back on the Kyron Horman case. Not for a second.
I will see it through, with prayer and my laptop, to its final conclusion.
Through my efforts, I have acquired information and I am very willing to gain more. As you can see, I have not explained where I received some of the information. This is a good way to keep the door open to whatever anyone wants to share with me.
I thank you all for visiting my blog and I ask you to pray to whatever you consider to be your Higher Power. Please pray that Kyron comes home soon and that the truth of what happened is revealed soon, too.

Northwest Tales To The Truth
As the search for Kyron Horman continues, I was alerted about the following website, Northwest Tales . The site belongs to Kyron's paternal grandfather, Neil Horman.
Among other weird things about the site is the so-called photo of the Author:
The photo (which I tried to lighten up to reveal more of the author, but failed) is creepy enough. But then there's the story: Buddy's Great Adventure that discusses tadpoles, frogs and this:
“Oh, Hello Tommy. We are going to hunt the illusive tadpoles”, said Buddy.
“Why do you call them illusive?” asked Tommy.
“Because we haven’t found any, so they must be hiding”, Buddy replied.
Tommy came down from the thinking tree and, after a long discussion about the best way to find tadpoles, Tommy wanted to know why they were trying to find tadpoles in the first place.
Buddy explained that Quinlan’s father had told him that tadpoles grew up to be frogs. Quinlan didn’t quite know how this could happen so he wanted to catch one and watch to see if it grows up to be a frog.
“I also really like to swat at them in the water to watch them swim away so fast”, said Buddy.
Buddy and Tommy turned to follow Quinlan and discovered that while they were talking Quinlan had disappeared.
“Are you sure that he was with you?” asked Tommy.
“Yes, I’m sure,” said Buddy. “We were going to the pond to find tadpoles”.
“Then let’s go to the pond to find Quinlan”, said Tommy. And they followed the creek bank toward the pond.
When they reached the pond, both immediately noticed that Quinlan was nowhere to be seen.
“I don’t see him”, said Tommy. “Do you suppose he got lost?”
The stories revolve around an area linked to "Rolf's Hideout." This rustic collection of cabins and outbuildings (sans indoor plumbing or electricity) is located "...just off the Mountain Loop highway near Snohomish, Washington. It’s the place just before the wooden bridge if you are traveling south. The hideout is located within a National Forest in the Cascade Mountains on the banks of the Sauk River" according to the website.
When I read the description and thought about Kyron, I got a real bad feeling.
And then there's the mention of an additional story about "Terri, That Red Squirrel."
Terri was addressed as "Red Squirrel" on her Facebook page.
And I wonder if she took Kyron up to that remote area and left him there.
I wonder if the FBI is going to find out if that place actually exists...and then comb over it with a fine-toothed investigation.
What if Kyron is actually stuck up there somewhere?
What if Terri never took Kyron to school that day?
What if the science fair display with his picture on it was photo-shopped?
What if Terri just drove Kyron up to those cabins and abandoned him?
There's something in that family structure that feels wrong.
One person after another is emailing me and telling me the same thing: Something isn't adding up.
I take comfort in the realization that God knows exactly what happened on June 4th.
Everyone in that extended family will face God someday. They will never hide from Him.
And they won't hide Kyron forever, either.

Terri And The Facebook Timeline, Part II
At 11:24a.m., Terri posts: "If you live in the Roseburg area, please contact Cheryln Guido - she is my liaison. Muah Cheryln."
"Muah"??
Terri Moulton Horman's stepson is missing and she posts a message that includes a chat phrase like "Muah." Kyron has been missing for two days and Terri continues to maintain her sociable, unruffled persona.
Most parents would be in the throes of true hysteria by this time. But not Terri.
She asks, "If you attended RHS with me and are in Eugene, OR please let me know."
I don't know why she posted that and so I am unable to comment on it.
Terri's sister posts that she hopes that Terri got the "picture message" that she sent to her. But I am unable to see the photo that she is referring to.
Then, after a string of "Terri Moulton Horman likes this", the infamous post appears: "Hitting the gym tomorrow. I didn't get home until 8pm tonight..."
There is no post that includes any frantic worry or raw emotion. Nothing. Terri Moulton Horman is operating like a methodical machine.
Instead of posting from her own heart, Terri posts this: "This message is from one of Kyron's classmates. I couldn't resist posting. :)

It's like she thinks it's cute!! A lovely little message that she "just couldn't resist" posting. With a smiley face, no less!
Her reactions and detachment from the reality of the situation is stunning.
After reading through the posts, it is my opinion that Terri Moulton Horman is either a total narcissist, guilty as hell or both.
And like many other people, I don't take her at face value on Facebook or anywhere else.

I don't know why she posted that and so I am unable to comment on it.
Terri's sister posts that she hopes that Terri got the "picture message" that she sent to her. But I am unable to see the photo that she is referring to.
Then, after a string of "Terri Moulton Horman likes this", the infamous post appears: "Hitting the gym tomorrow. I didn't get home until 8pm tonight..."
There is no post that includes any frantic worry or raw emotion. Nothing. Terri Moulton Horman is operating like a methodical machine.
Instead of posting from her own heart, Terri posts this: "This message is from one of Kyron's classmates. I couldn't resist posting. :)
dear terri i rely miss kyron he is a real good frend and kid. i rely like kyron. i hope he gets home soon. sincerly, paige"
It's like she thinks it's cute!! A lovely little message that she "just couldn't resist" posting. With a smiley face, no less!
Her reactions and detachment from the reality of the situation is stunning.
After reading through the posts, it is my opinion that Terri Moulton Horman is either a total narcissist, guilty as hell or both.
And like many other people, I don't take her at face value on Facebook or anywhere else.

Terri And The Facebook Timeline, Part I
According to the Oregonian website , Terri Moulton Horman left her stepson, Kyron, at the school and drove away at approx. 8:45a.m. on June 4.
Her wall on Facebook lists her online at 6:46a.m. and then again at 9:01a.m. on the morning of June 4. She was playing a Family Feud(I kid you not!)game on Facebook at 9:01a.m. Which would mean that she was online on Facebook fourteen minutes after she left Kyron.
Did she access Facebook by phone? Laptop?
Or did she drive home and then get online?
At 2:21p.m. 9 new photos are added to Terri's Facebook page.
But the question, of course, (among others) that remains at this point is: What did Terri Moulton Horman do after Family Feud and before she posted the pictures of Kyron in the afternoon?
On Saturday, at 11:16a.m. Terri is on Facebook again and posts: "Please don't listen to the news. It is inaccurate. We will give details as soon as we can. Thank you all for your well wishes. There are a lot of people looking."
The morning after Kyron's disappearance, Terri is back on Facebook! That sure wouldn't be what I would be doing if a loved one went missing!!
The wording of her post makes it sound like she misplaced her cat!
I wouldn't be on my computer, I'd be out looking for the kid!
Then it gets weird. Terri is on Facebook at around midnight on Saturday night...her stepson has been missing for over 24 hours...and she gets into what appears to be a poking match with a David Brooks. He posts: "Can't stop poking... :-)" at 11:47p.m. and she replies: "I know - I think it's addicting." at 11:58p.m.
It's as if nothing else in her world matters at that moment, least of all, Kyron!
At least not in a serious sense.
Check out this post that she made late Saturday night: "Kitty has been hugged by lots of people both in person and via Internet. She keeps going in Kyron's room, sitting on his bed and reading his books. :)"
It's as if she is being sociable online...talking about her family...while her son is gone on a weekend camping trip!
There's no "Oh my gosh, help me...my son is missing...my heart is breaking...Oh Dear God, WHERE ARE YOU, KYRON??!"
Nope. Her posts aren't at all like that.
On Sunday, at 8:47a.m. Terri posts: "We have fliers made and we are going to learn how they are going to be distributed from the command center at the school. I will give more information as soon as I know on how to get them for those interested in passing around their area."
She still sounds like she's talking about her lost dog, not her missing son!!
On Sunday, at 9:58a.m. Terri posts: "I ordered 1000 fliers, they will be coming to our house. I will let people know when they are here and we can go from there. Thank you everyone."
She sounds like she's discussing the distribution of signs for a garage sale.
Everyone Else's posts are loaded with emotion. But not hers. Terri remains detached and devoid of any emotion at all.
